During the holidays I happened to watch a fantastic episode from this tv series: LOST on AXN. From that day onwards I became an addict to it. I also heard that this tv series is very popular in the USA since there are web pages and blogs were spectators discuss the different episodes and even analyse the psychological profiles of the main characters.
I will be showing you the 3 first episodes of the first season and I would like you to write some comments about them.
1. What would you do if you were stranded on a desert Island?

4. Imagine you could go through the luggage of the dead people. If you could choose, what 5 items would you take with you to make your life easier on the Island?

During a routine trip from Sydney, Australia, to Los Angeles, Oceanic flight 815 is blown off course and crashes on a remote, deserted island. Convinced that rescue is coming soon, the surviving passengers set up camp on the beach and try to make the most of what they think will only be a short time on the island. One of the 48 survivors, Dr. Jack Shephard, suggests that they find the transceiver in the front of the plane so they can radio for help. But when a terrifying howl comes from the jungle, it becomes apparent that this is no ordinary island.
The discovery of a transceiver among the plane's wreckage and the thought that rescue could be imminent temporarily raises the castaways' spirits. And the island's mysteries continue to baffle with the discovery of handcuffs, a gun and an animal that shouldn't be able to survive in a tropical climate
6. What do you think will happen next?
I think that suspence are going to be present all along the story.I think tha a litle group are goin to survive and that the survivers are going to be rescue at the end of the story...
If i have to choose a lider, i would choose a man with a very strong personality. A person very responsable, able to hold up the group and also brave and optimistic, but down to earth. He must be a man with some ability to direct a group and also to know how to safe them, or at list to try.
If i could choose 5 items to take with me, so they make easier my life on a desert island, i would take:
1. A box of matches so i could light fire.
2. A big bottle of shampoo.
3. A knife, I think it would to be very usefull
4. A warm sweater to protect my body from cold.
5. My mp3 with new batteries in case i get bored of being in contact with the nature all the time.
8. If you had to choose a leader to help the group to survive the crash, what qualities would you expect that person to have?
I would definetly choose a man, because, unfortunatly they are stronger than women. He has to be smart, thoughtful and has to know how to treat with strangers, he has to teach them how to handle that situation in the best way possible. Of course he has to know elemental things like what to do when someone is bleading, paniking, or when someone is having a black out. If i had the chance, I would totally choose Jack. He's perfect for that roll.
6. What do you think will happen next?
In the next chapter i think that they are going to find the french flight wich had been lost for over 16 years,but while they look for it some persons are going to get killed by the monster.
After finding it they will use the equipment available there to make the transceiver work and send a rescue signal.this signal will be answered a year later and during this period more persons of the group are going to be killed by the monster.
1. What would you do if you were stranded on a desert Island?
First of all I think that I would try to calm myself, to look some food to survive and just relax until help comes.
I think that at the end only a few people are going to survive and they are going to be rescue finally. the others are going to be killed by the monster .. i think that one of the first that is going to be killed is charlie because he is a little helpless in the group. Another option of end is that all of the "survivers" die and the story beguns again; a new plane chush into the island and thats the end of lost....
The destinty is implied in this series in diferent ways. In one way, we cas see, in some flashbacks, how are the characters related, with a relationship or with the meeting of some person related to someone in the island. We can also see how is destiny implied in lock´s attitude, he always thinks all the people is in the island becuse of something and he thinks it was his destiny to find te hatch and to enter in it.

I think destiny is related in everyway in this series, for example, when desmond in a flashback tells jack that they would meet in another life and they meet inside the hatch.Other examples are that locks thinks his destiny was to arrive on the island and walk again..by by...put me a 10..i did the homework...
John locke says that all the roads lead to the island, this is very important. He also says that finding the hatch and getting inside of it was his destination.
As the article make notice of, some characters are related with each other, some of them with Jack's father.

ABOUT DESTINY
In my opinion destiny is one of the main topics in this interesting series. As John Locke said all of them are there in the island because of some reason. As we go on watching the episodes we realized that all, or most of the characters had something in common or had already met before, so in conclusion destiny is the responsible of their extraordinary unfortunate.
DESTINY
Well, I don't know what's left because everybody has already said what I think! (that's for doing this homework late =S)jeje. Anyway.. I also think that destiny is the main topic in this catchy series. As the episodes go by the plot of the destiny in those characters grows and grows! It's amazing how everyone in the island are or just becomes related with each other..
The destiny in "LOST" can be just realiced by the spectators and take it as the main thing in the series (like I did), or can just be heard from the characters (like from Locke), depends on who's watching. But I can assure you that the word "destiny" will come up gradually in this awsome TV series.

For me the destiny has a very important part in this series..We can see that the destiny appears in a lot of moments. for example whith the relation betwenn desmond and jack...
i think that the story is based by de destiny. As John Locke said all of them are related in some way in the past and they are there for a reason that we are goingo to descovered

about DESTINY y think that's somethink that they cant avoid and it's gives a special feeling to this series... like someones were conected o have somthing in common in the past
DESTINY
As we can see chapter by chapter, destiny is one of the main topics in this serie. I think that it appear very frequently because in this serie it means a lot. We notice that all the characters, or most of them in one way or another they are all related. Like John had say it was destiny who took all of them to take that plane and have that luck. All of this was planed to happend and they only have to accept that.
